About us

We identify and develop sites for high-capacity charging hubs and invest in their construction and operation. Our projects are designed for both passenger and commercial vehicles, are ready for megawatt charging (MCS), and integrate battery storage systems to maximize the efficient use of available grid capacity.

eHUBS is a joint venture between Tuffieh Funds and LEEF Technologies and also benefits from the expertise of its sister company, C.S.CARGO. This brings together investment experience, energy and development know-how, and practical insight into the needs of a major European transport operator.

People

Stanislav Coufal

CEO

25 years of experience in investment banking and energy. He has founded and managed several companies both in-house and in projects for large international corporations. He also served as CEO of Stredoslovenská energetika.

Filip Vančura

CFO

10 years in the energy industry. Financial models and market projections in the "new energy" sector. In CEZ ESCO he focused on electricity trading and the use of flexibility of distributed resources.

Martin Cmíral

Member of the Supervisory Board

20 years in the energy industry, in managerial positions at Biomass Technology Group, Vertis Environmental Finance and CEZ Group. In 2010 he founded LEEF Technologies.

Jan Schiesser

Member of the Supervisory Board

25 years of experience in investment banking. Since 2010 member of the Board of Directors of Tuffieh Funds, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CS Cargo, member of the Board of Directors of EUC a.s. Previously in the management of KKCG Finance and Atlantic FT.

Currently Underway

In February 2025, we received a Grant Decision under the Operational Programme Transport. The grant is intended for the construction of charging hubs for heavy duty vehicles in five locations.

During 2025 and 2026, we conducted a tender for the technological solution for the charging hubs, including a preliminary market consultation, qualification stage, and bidding stage.

The tender was concluded with the winning supplier, a consortium of SIEMENS-EQUANS.

In September 2026, we began construction of the charging hub in Postřižín as part of the eHUBS 1 Heavy-Duty Vehicle Charging project (CZ.04.03.01/09/23_014/0000176), co-funded by the European Union.

EU funding

The development of the charging hub network for electric trucks is co-funded by the European Union under the Transport Programme (Operační program doprava) 2021–2027. The funding covers two related projects through which we are building a total of five charging sites near the core TEN-T network. These are:

eHUBS 1 Heavy-Duty Vehicle Charging

The aim of the project is to build three charging hubs for heavy-duty vehicles near the core TEN-T network, thereby contributing to the development of low-emission freight transport in the Czech Republic and to meeting the objectives of AFIR. A total of 27 charging stations will be built across three locations. Each hub will provide 9 parking spaces with 9 charging stations, with a total capacity of 3.6 MW.

eHUBS 2 Heavy-Duty Vehicle Charging
